Haiti-Elections: the CEP demands the resumption of state control over 20 municipalities

The president of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Jacques Desrosiers, calls on the Haitian state to do everything possible to regain control of about twenty municipalities. He made this appeal during a working session on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, with the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Dr. Patrick Pélissier, regarding security issues related to the upcoming electoral competitions scheduled for this year.
