Council of Ministers: Alfred Métellus dismissed, Didier Fils-Aimé appointed interim Minister of Finance

THECouncil of Ministers concluded its meeting this Monday. Alfred Métellus was dismissed from his post. Prime Minister Didier Fils-Aimé was appointed interim Minister of Economy and Finance. A decree establishing a single-headed executive was signed. Changes were also made to the leadership of the municipalities of Port-au-Prince, Pétion-Ville, and Gressier. The Prime Minister is scheduled to address the nation this evening at 8:00 PM.
