The White House says it is considering ‘in-person talks’ with Iran

The United States is considering 'in-person discussions' with Iran, White House spokeswoman said on Tuesday, after Washington and Tehran agreed to a two-week ceasefire in exchange for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States is considering ‘in-person talks’ with Iran, White House spokeswoman said on Tuesday, after Washington and Tehran agreed to a two-week ceasefire in exchange for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

‘Exchanges are underway regarding in-person talks, but nothing is final until the president or the White House announces it,’ Karoline Leavitt added, as discussions between the two parties are scheduled to start on Friday in Islamabad, Pakistan.
