Gathered at the Reception Villa, in the presence of the Minister of Sports, Pythagore Dumas, the President of the Normalization Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), Monique André, as well as several state authorities, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé proceeded to hand over two checks totaling 528 million gourdes to support the national team.

According to the Prime Minister, these checks are allocated as a qualification bonus and preparation expenses for the Haitian national team’s participation in the 2026 World Cup. In his speech on the occasion, the head of government stated that he performed this act with much “emotion,” as well as a deep sense of pride and responsibility.

“Beyond the money, this gesture is a way to strengthen faith in the hearts of the Grenadiers and the confidence of the youth. It represents the State’s commitment to supporting the national team,” said Mr. Fils-Aimé, once again congratulating the team.
