The Haitian Football League has unveiled the schedule for the second matchday of the D1 national championship’s closing series. The match between Racing CH and Cavaly AS in the South group will be particularly noteworthy, while Baltimore SC will host AS Capoise in the North group.
The clubs will be on the field trying to secure points and improve their playoff positions. The action kicks off in the South group with Racing CH taking on Cavaly AS on March 7 at Parc Sainte-Thérèse. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
The following day, Don Bosco FC will face FC Juventus in Pétion-Ville. Having missed out on playoffs in the opening series, the Pétion-Ville team will be counting on the support of their home crowd to try and secure three points. Meanwhile, America FC will take on Violette AC at Land des Gabions. This is the first away game for the defending champions, who defeated Don Bosco FC on opening day. All matches are scheduled between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
In Group A, Racing FC will face Tempête FC on March 7 at Parc Vincent. This match, considered the Artibonite department derby, is usually very popular with supporters of both teams. The following day, three matches are scheduled. Ouanaminthe FC will host Real Hope FA at Parc Notre-Dame, aiming to bounce back after their first-round defeat.
Meanwhile, FICA will play Cosmopolites SC at Parc Saint-Victor. For the Cap-Haïtien side, this is a crucial match against an opponent that typically poses problems for teams from the country’s second-largest city. Baltimore SC will play AS Capoise at Parc Levelt.
