The new Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Dr. Vijonet Demero, met this morning at his office in Delmas 83 with the UNESCO Resident Representative in Haiti, Eric Voli Bi.
This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for cooperation between the Ministry and UNESCO aimed at strengthening the Haitian education system. The discussions also highlighted the two institutions’ commitment to consolidating their partnership in order to support reforms and initiatives designed to improve education and empower the country’s youth.
