The Ministry of Public Works, Transportation and Communications (MTPTC) says it is continuing concrete actions to improve infrastructure in several departments across the country. In the South, temporary rehabilitation work is underway on the Les Cayes–Port-Salut section of the road to restore traffic flow and secure the route. In the North, ravine clearing operations in Vertières aim to reduce the risk of flooding.
