Speaking on television and addressing Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Minister Katz declared: “You pledged to respect the agreement and disarm Hezbollah, but you haven’t.”

“Act before we take more severe measures. If Nasrallah (the Hezbollah leader killed in September 2024 by Israel) destroyed Lebanon, Naim Qassem (the current Hezbollah secretary-general) will destroy it in turn,” the minister threatened.
