U.S. Vice President JD Vance said that the United States has “tools” in its arsenal that it has chosen not to use so far against Iran, on Tuesday during a press conference in Budapest.

“They must know that we have tools in our arsenal that, up to now, we have not decided to use,” he said, adding that President Donald Trump “can decide to use them, and he will decide to use them if the Iranians do not change their behavior.”

Regarding the ultimatum set by Donald Trump for the Iranians to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Mr. Vance said that there would “be a lot of negotiations by then and I am optimistic that we will reach a good outcome.”
