In a context of increasing security tensions, the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd’H) have reached a new level in their defense system.

Through an official memorandum issued on April 2, 2026, from the Grand General Headquarters in Port-au-Prince, the institution announced the transition to “Condition D,” the highest alert level across the entire national territory.

This measure, which will come into effect on Monday, April 6, 2026, aims to prepare the troops for military operations deemed imminent.

The high command requires the total mobilization of all units in order to achieve maximum operational capacity.
