A victory that leaves a mark. The young Haitian Abigaïl Alexandre won, this Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in France, the grand final of the international eloquence competition Eloquentia International.
At only 21 years old, she becomes the first Haitian woman to win this prestigious title, confirming her exceptional talent in public speaking.
Having arrived in France a few days before the final, she managed to stand out against strong competition, after being selected from over 2,400 candidates from the French-speaking world. She was among the four finalists, alongside Dienaba Dabo, Anna Herreros, and Anna Hemmat.
The final took place at La Seine Musicale, an iconic venue of the French cultural scene, where the candidates competed in eloquence and oratory skills in front of an attentive audience and a demanding jury.
