My HDMI output is no longer working for my TV screen.

Hello, my HDMI output is no longer working on my TV screen. The cable isn’t faulty, as it works fine with my DVD player. I’ve defragmented my computer, but to no avail. Is there a solution? I’m hesitant to perform a factory reset.
