Financial inclusion: towards the autonomy of people with disabilities

The Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, Genard Joseph, held a working meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, with representatives from the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), the National Council of Cooperatives (CNC), and the Office of Human Resources Management (OMRH). Discussions focused on the financial inclusion of people living with disabilities and ways to promote their autonomy. The institutions expressed their commitment to supporting this project, which has already begun with CNC training on cooperative management, considered a key step toward the realization of this initiative.
