The Embassy of France in Haiti, in partnership with the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) and the Research Institute for Development (IRD), has launched the call for applications for the 6th edition of the Anténor Firmin doctoral mobility program for the 2026-2027 academic year.
This program is aimed at Haitian doctoral students residing in Haiti and seeks to support research training through academic stays abroad. It notably allows the establishment of joint supervision of theses between Haitian universities and foreign institutions, mainly in France.
Beneficiaries will be able to undertake research stays of up to six months per academic year, for a maximum duration of three years. The aim is to strengthen scientific capacity while maintaining an academic anchoring in Haiti.
