U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday of ‘lying’ by claiming that the United States was conditioning the granting of security guarantees to Ukraine on territorial concessions by that country in favor of Russia.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday of “lying” by claiming that the United States was conditioning the provision of security guarantees to Ukraine on territorial concessions from this country in favor of Russia. “That is a lie,” Mr. Rubio said to the press following a G7 meeting not far from Paris.”
