Donald Trump said on Monday that the United States could destroy “in four hours” the bridges and power plants in Iran.

“We have a plan, thanks to the power of our armed forces, which provides that all the bridges in Iran will be destroyed by midnight tomorrow night, that all the power plants in Iran will be out of service (…) and can never be used again,” said the American president, referring to the ultimatum set for Tuesday 8:00 PM Washington time (00:00 GMT) that he gave to Iran to reach an agreement.

“And this will be done in the space of four hours – if we wanted to,” he added during a press conference.
