Haiti submits the Veve Trace file to UNESCO

The Ministry of Culture and Communication (MCC) announced that the Haitian State has officially submitted the file for the ‘Know-how of the Tracé-Vèvè of Haiti’ to UNESCO, with a view to its inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The Ministry of Culture and Communication (MCC) announced that the Haitian State has officially submitted the file of the “Savoir-faire du Tracé-Vèvè d’Haïti” to UNESCO, with a view to its inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This initiative, according to the ministry, marks a decisive step for the international promotion.
