Blood, fuels, inflation… the time of the first tests for Fils-Aimé

The results-oriented culture would suggest that Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, bolstered by the support of the international community, surrounds himself with the best technicians possible in each position of his ministerial cabinet and at the head of general directorates.

For the moment, this is not the case. The Prime Minister has made choices based on his political allies, rather than a proven concern for who can do, knows how to do it, and has experience. He has chosen to assign missions and budgets to young talents and will have to wait to see the outcomes.

But now the hardest part is already standing in the path of PM ADFA.

Blood continues to flow under the leadership of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, head of the Superior Council of the National Police. In Jean Denis, a locality of Petite-Rivière de l’Artibonite, the Gran Grif gang from Savien carried out yet another massacre. The police, on X, on Monday, said that at least 16 people were killed and ten others were injured during the night of March 28 to 29, 2026. Others speak of several dozen deaths. “At least 70 dead in brutal and coordinated attacks against several localities of Petite Rivière de l’Artibonite: this blind violence is a new reminder of the urgent need for increased support to Haiti against the scourge of gangs and the networks that support them,” reads a post on X by Carlos Luis Massieu, the representative of the UN Secretary-General in Haiti.
