Protest in Jacmel after the gang attack against Seguin

A large-scale protest paralyzed the city of Jacmel on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. Several public and private institutions, businesses, and schools remained closed.

Through this demonstration, the protesters are demanding that the government assume its responsibilities following the attack perpetrated by armed bandits in Seguin.

They denounce the negligence of the authorities, whom they hold responsible for the deteriorating security situation that forced residents of Seguin to flee their homes, while others lost their lives.
