The Saut-Mathurine / waterfall

WWondering what to do in Haiti? We suggest you take a trip to Camp-Perrin, in the south, where you’ll have the chance to admire Saut-Mathurine, one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in the country.

Standing 27 meters high and approximately 30 meters wide, this incredible waterfall cascades down the Cavaillon River and flows into a natural pool where you can swim. It’s the perfect way to cool off after a hot day exploring the surrounding area!

Interestingly, its waters are used to generate electricity and thus supply power to the towns of Camp-Perrin and Maniche.
